Tata Motors has showcased its new generation Tata Harrier Electric in the Indian market at the Bharat Mobility Show. Currently, Tata Motors holds a market share of more than 75% in the electric segment. And to maintain this share further, it is preparing to launch all its vehicles in electric form.

Last year, Tata Motors introduced the Tata Harrier electric facelift in the Indian market, and now the fully electric version has been unveiled at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show. It was first presented inside the 2023 Auto Expo Delhi. Apart from this, Tata Motors is going to unveil many more great vehicles inside the Bharat Mobility Expo. This includes Tata Nexion Electric Black Edition, Tata Safari Black Edition, Nexon CNG, Altroz ​​Racer Edition.

The price of the upcoming Tata Harrier Electric is expected to be around Rs 22 lakh to Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market. Its price is going to be premium compared to its diesel version.

 

Tata Harrier EV Launch Date In India:

Tata Harrier Electric is going to be launched in the Indian market around the beginning of 2025. While its delivery is also expected to start by the end of 2025. However, no information has been officially revealed by the company yet.

 

Tata Harrier EV Bharat Mobility Expo 2024:

The Tata Harrier Electric, which was unveiled at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, has been unveiled with a new color option. The new Tata Harrier Electric is finished in seaweed green paint, and is based on all-electric architecture. You are going to get the facility of wheel drive in Tata Harrier Electric, which is not available in the current model.

In terms of features, it is expected to be laced with current technology and many more features. It is currently powered by a dual 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Apart from this, it also includes 360 degree camera, height adjustable driver seat with front ventilated and heated seats, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless mobile charging, dual zone climate control, and many more features.

 

Tata Harrier EV Safety Features:

As a safety feature, it is currently operated with level two ADAS technology. The upcoming Harrier Electric is expected to be offered with more base technology. Apart from this, many other excellent security technologies will be used in between, which will make it more powerful and secure.

 

Tata Harrier EV Battery And Range:

Tata Harrier Electric is going to be introduced in the Indian market with a range of approximately 500 kilometers. It will be offered with two electric motor setups, each based on Excel. Although Tata Motors has not yet revealed any information about its charging option and engine, it is expected that more information about it will be revealed very soon.

According to some media reports, it is going to have two battery packs, one to cover short distances and a larger battery pack to cover long distances. Along with this, it is also going to get the facility of fast charging and hum charging, which will charge it in a very short time.

Tata Harrier EV Rivals:

The upcoming Tata Harrier Electric has no direct rivals in the Indian market. Nor has any SUV yet entered this segment.
